Lucie Kaňková is co-founding a new chamber music festival at Slapy, an event that will breathe new life into the unique space of the Baroque Church of Sts. Peter and Paul—a structure associated with the renowned architect Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel.

At the gala opening concert, Lucie Kaňková will perform alongside her father, the acclaimed cellist and festival co-founder Michal Kaňka. They will be joined by pianist Lukáš Klánský and violinist Leoš Čepický. These four distinguished figures of the Czech music scene will come together for a program promising an extraordinary musical experience within the inspiring setting of historic architecture.

The gala opening concert will take place on September 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
